Westlife star Mark Feehily has opened up about his split from ex-fiance Kevin McDaid, saying that the pain is still "very fresh".
The couple had been together for seven years and got engaged in January 2010. The singer announced the split in January of this year via Twitter.
The Irish Daily star quotes Feehily as saying: "I think any break-up is difficult to be honest with you. Even talking about it is not something that I really want to do.
"It's fresh and just like anybody you take every day as it comes."
Feehily yesterday launched an anti-bullying campaign for the ISPCC and said that he suffered at the hands of bullies.
He said: "The memory is still with me. It probably affects me in ways I'm not even fully aware of myself subconsciously.
"In the photo for the campaign obviously it's all make-up. I actually did get that done to me one day when I was walking home from school. You never forget those moments."
