Isla Fisher has revealed that director Baz Lurhmann used music by Jay-Z on the set of upcoming drama The Great Gatsby.
Fisher revealed that Luhrmann played Jay-Z's music underneath scenes, and told MTV: "On my first day he had Jay-Z pumped up full and we did the entire scene with Jay-Z in our ear on full blast while acting, and it was just so liberating."
The former Home and Away actress stars in the film as Myrtle Wilson, appearing alongside Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Carey Mulligan.
This latest cinematic adaptation of the classic 1925 novel by F Scott Fitzgerald about the tragic story of a mysterious young millionaire named Jay Gatsby will also be in 3-D.
The Great Gatsby has just completed shooting in Luhrmann’s native Australia and is scheduled for release next Christmas.
