EastEnders star Sid Owen has revealed that he is single again after splitting up from his fiancée Polly Parsons.
The couple who have been on and off for six years have finally called time on their turbulant relationship.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Sid said: "We're still good friends but we are not together anymore. I'm single."
Sid, 40, and Polly, 28, met in 2006 when they were both starring in when they were both starring in the pantomime Snow White And The Seven Dwarves at the Beck Theatre in Hayes, Middlesex, and both claim it was 'love at first sight'
But in 2009, Sid proposed to Polly while they were on holiday in Barbados but the couple reportedly rowed about their plans for the wedding and called off their engagement.
Last summer they announced they were back together with Polly adding: "We had some time apart. But it made us appreciate each other and realise we wanted to be together."
Owen, best known for his role as Ricky Butcher in EastEnders will be returning to the soap for a couple of weeks next month.
