Dublin Zoo celebrates a happy ending and more new arrivals in The Zoo on RTÉ One tonight, Thursday April 19, at 7.00pm.
Keeper Susan discovers that Angelina the red panda has successfully given birth to two cubs.
Angelina arrived at Dublin Zoo from Germany as a potential partner for the unlucky-in-love Chota, who had become more interested in dozing than the opposite sex.
However, with only one day in the year when the female red panda is receptive to taking a mate, Chota put his slacker ways behind him and upped his game.

Keeper Susan said: "We noticed Angelina had been behaving a little bit odd recently. She'd been going into her den a lot and bringing bits of bedding and extra twigs and things in.
"Then suddenly she went off her food for a day or two and wouldn't come out. We looked a little bit closer and after a little bit of investigation we saw this tiny white head looking back out at us.
"It's always nice when one animal is born but when they are twins it's even better. They'll be great company and provide warmth for each other, and of course be little playmates for each other as they grow up. I can't wait to see them when they come out and begin to play."
In other baby news in Thursday's episode, it's breeding season in the reptile house for the gila monsters - the highly venomous lizards can get a little too hot under the scales at this time of year - while Honey, a rare Indian black buck antelope, is expecting.
