American Pie star Seann William Scott is to be honoured by the Dublin University Philosophical Society in Trinity College today, Wednesday April 18.
Scott is in Dublin to promote American Pie: Reunion and will make an address to students and receive the Gold Medal of Honorary Patronage from the Society this afternoon in the Graduate Memorial Building.
Previous recipients of the award include Christopher Lee, Al Pacino and John C Reilly.
American Pie: Reunion opens in cinemas on Wednesday May 2.
