It is reported that former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison has agreed a £175,000 deal to appear on Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother later this year.
A source told The Sun: "Cheryl is hilarious. She's got a really great sense of humour and producers wanted to sign her up the minute she was written out of EastEnders."
According to the story, Fergison's reported fee is one of the highest in the show's history.
The paper says that the makers of the show are planning to broadcast the new series in late August or early September.
