The team behind the RTÉ comedy Hardy Bucks have received a production loan from the Irish Film Board for a movie version of the mockumentary series.
Hardy Bucks: The Movie received €175,000 in the latest round of production loans.
The film will be directed by series director Mike Cockayne, who will also work on the script with writers Chris Tordoff, Martin Maloney and Gerry Greaney.
Also among the funding recipients were an animated version of Zig & Zag and Men in Uniform, the new documentary from His & Hers director Ken Wardrop.
