Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are set to reunite for the third instalment in The Hangover franchise this September, it has just been announced.
The latest instalment of the comedy movie series, The Hangover III, is slated for a May 2013 release, although there is no storyline planned as yet.
Director Todd Phillips will be at the helm again, and Cooper, Helms and Galifianakis will reprise the roles of Phil, Stu and Alan.
Phillips said of the news: “I’m so excited to embark on another Hangover film with Bradley, Ed and Zach. We’re going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions.”
Phillips is writing the screenplay with Craig Mazin, who also collaborated with him on The Hangover II.
