French actor Olivier Martinez has confirmed his engagement to Hollywood star Halle Berry.
After months of speculation, fuelled by a giant rock on Halle Berry’s left hand, Oliver Martinez has announced that his has indeed asked the Oscar-winning actress to be his wife.
Speaking to Miami.com, at the opening of his restaurant in Miami, the actor declared: “Yes, of course it is true!”
However it would seem the wrong person is taking credit for the sparkler that Halle has been spotted wearing.
Martinez said: “There is a jeweller taking credit for doing the ring and it's a lie. They have nothing to do with this."
He added that the ring’s true designer is "real artist" Robert Mazio, a jeweller from his Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood in Paris, whose family has been designing jewellery for "kings and queens for many centuries."
