Glee creator Ryan Murphy is currently in talks with Beyonce to secure her for a new film project.
The film, entitled 'One-Hit Wonders' follows a group of washed-up 90s singers who form a supergroup in one last attempt at fame. It's believed that Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow have been offered leading roles.
The idea for the musical comedy came about during a dinner that Diaz, Witherspoon, Paltrow and Murphy had where they dreamt up a 'fun project'. Paltrow has already shown her penchant for musical theatre by guest starring in Murphy's hit TV series.
Beyoncé is already linked to the Clint Eastwood remake A Star Is Born. Murphy will co-write the screenplay, alongside his Glee writers, for the film and act as director.
