Michael Fassbender is developing a feature film about the legendary Celtic warrior Cú Chulainn and plans to play the leading role.
Variety reports that Fassbender is developing the film with author and screenwriter Ronan Bennett.
The film has the working title Irish Myths.
Variety says Fassbender and Bennett have raised development funding for the film through their production company, Finn McCool Films.
