Following her appearance at the Irish Film and Television Awards at Dublin’s Convention Centre on Saturday night, Dana Delany has bid Ireland a fond farewell.
Writing on her Twitter account (@DanaDelany) this morning, the former Desperate Housewives star tweeted as gaeilge: "Til next time Ireland. Go raibh maith agat!"
The Body of Proof actress attended the awards with her sister Corey and gave her support to Fionnula Flanagan who, in addition to receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, also won the Best Supporting Actress in Film award.
