The Tudors star Sarah Bolger has been cast alongside Blythe Danner and Madeline Zima in the pilot episode of a planned new TV period drama in the US called Gilded Lilys.
Deadline.com reports that the planned series, executive produced by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes, is set in New York City in 1895 and is described as "an epic love story".
It focuses on the opening of the first luxury hotel in the city by the Lily family, with Bolger playing the rebellious Violet Lily; Danner her grandmother Caroline and Zima playing Violet's maid.
Armagh-born director Brian Kirk, whose credits include Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, The Tudors and Middletown, will direct the pilot.
