Irish chef and presenter Neven Maguire and wife Amelda have welcomed twins.
Neven's wife, Amelda Maguire, gave birth to a set of twins, one boy and one girl, this morning.
The celebrity chef tweeted his excitement this afternoon saying "Wow what a wonderful day Amelda just give birth to a boy & girl we are thrilled our little angels !!! Thank god ![sic]".
A picture of the newborn twins followed Neven's Twitter update.
Speaking to RTÉ's Donal O'Donoghue last month about the upcoming arrival, Neven said "My world is going to turn upside down, but it's a new challenge and I love new challenges. It's going to be what life is all about: rearing a family and spending time with them".
The twins are the first children for the couple.
Maguire's current series, Home Chef, continues Thursday nights on RTÉ One at 8:30pm.
