Susan Boyle's brother Gerry Boyle is planning to release his debut album.
The 57-year-old ishoping to achieve his own chart success with new single All Of My Days.
However, Gerry insisted that he is not trying to cash in on Susan's fame and decided to release the track after letting a New Zealand radio station play it for a bit of fun.
Speaking to the Daily Record he said: "It's for the public to decide who is the better singer out of me and Susan but it's definitely not a competition.
"You can't just jump on stage and start singing just because your sister has become famous. Susan is 100% behind me.
"She's been shoving me to do this for years and I kept telling her, 'All in good time'. I haven't sung with Susan for a very long time but now America is calling out for that, you never know."
Gerry added: "New Zealand and American women who follow Susan think it's amazing and think Susan and I should do a song together."
The aspiring performer has already been branded SuBro by fans and the media.
Gerry has previously been outspoken about Susan's management, saying they have kept her family unaware of her career plans and schedule.
