Justin Timberlake is reportedly in talks to star in Clint Eastwood's new film Trouble with the Curve.
Eastwood is set to return to acting with a role in the movie which is about an elderly baseball scout who travels to Atlanta, Georgia to screen a potential new player.
Timberlake is set to take on the role of Johnny Flanagan, a former New York Yankees player who finds new talent alongside Eastwood's character, Variety reports.
Amy Adams will play Eastwood's character's daughter in the film, who is a rising attorney who is on the verge of being promoted to partner.
Eastwood's long-time assistant director Robert Lorenz will make his full directorial debut with the movie.
Warner Bros recently slated a September 28 release date for the drama.
