Heidi Klum and Seal: 'told kids things would be different'

Seal and Heidi Klum have broken the news of their divorce to their family and 'told kids things would be different'.

Seal has said that he and Heidi Klum want to make sure their children "feel loved" throughout their split.

The seperated couple announced their plans to divorce last Sunday (January 22) after seven years of marriage.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Seal revealed that the couple's four children - 7-year-old Leni, 6-year-old Henri, 5-year-old Joan and 2-year-old Lou - have been told about their parents' situation in the most gentle way possible.

"We talk to them, we try to explain as best we could what is going on. [We're] just explaining to them that things will be different, you know, without going into too much detail. Things will be different," he explained.

"A lot of things won't change. The main thing is to make sure that they feel that they're loved. Make sure they understand that their parents love each other [and]... it has absolutely nothing to do with them."

He added: "In actual fact, it may even improve the amount of time that we spend with them. Quality time."

Seal recently said that he would not rule out a reconciliation with Klum in the future but is unsure whether he wants it to happen.
