The Works, RTÉ Television's new weekly Arts magazine programme, begins on RTÉ One tonight, Thursday January 26, at 10.45pm.
Presented by John Kelly and featuring reports from Sinéad Gleeson, Nadine O'Regan and Kevin Gildea, the show aims "to cover the Arts in an offbeat, challenging and agenda-setting way".
In the first episode, Michael Fassbender discusses his new film Shame; Neil Hannon performs live in studio; Joseph O'Connor discusses his Pen Award and there's also a report on Irish rap.
