The scheming of Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater) is set to cause all kinds of problems for Mandy Salter (Nicola Stapleton) in EastEnders.

The Sun reports that in her desperation to wreck Mandy's relationship with Lucy's father Ian (Adam Woodyatt), Lucy dials a telephone number that she thinks belongs to Mandy's lover.
However, the number belongs to Mandy's mother Lorraine (Victoria Alcock), last seen in Albert Square in 1991.
The paper says that her return will test Mandy's relationship with Ian.
Actress Alcock, who makes her debut next month, said: "I am thrilled to be joining EastEnders. I can't wait to see people's reaction when Lorraine arrives."
