Newcomer Jeremy Irvine has stated that he can't wait for people to see his next film, Great Expectations.
The War Horse actor is playing the part of Pip in Mike Newell's star-studded big-screen adaptation of the Charles Dickens' novel, which is set for release this autumn.
Speaking to the Irish Independent newspaper he said: "It's me and Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Robbie Coltrane, Jason Flemyng and all these wonderful people. The script has been written by David Nicholls. I think it's going to be a really exciting film."
Fresh from his success in Steven Spielberg's First World War epic, Jeremy, who next appears in teenage drama Now Is Good with Dakota Fanning, is heading Down Under to film The Railway Man.
He added: "I'm about to go to Australia to shoot another film with Rachel Weisz and Colin Firth."
The 21-year-old admitted he owes everything to Spielberg, who chose him despite his lack of experience.
Irvine added: "I had to learn everything from Steven Spielberg. He wasn't just my director, he was also my film acting teacher. Who better to learn from?."
"Each movie has been a big learning curve. I've had to learn everything from scratch."
