Beyoncé’s rep has said a much publicised interview with the new mom is “completely made up.” The seemingly believable interview, which was reproduced in a number of newspapers yesterday, had Beyonce talking of her “instant connection” with her first baby and describing Jay-Z as an “inspirational husband.”
But it was totally rejected by the superstar’s rep on Access Hollywood. “Completely made up,” she said. But the Star UK’s editor is standing by what they called the “world exclusive first interview” with the new mother.
“It is not made up or fictitious at all,” the editor tells the news site. “We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM [labor service management] team.”
The couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, was born on January 7 at the Lenox Hill hospital in New York City.
Beyoncé's rep made no comment on the new species of Australian horsefly named after the R & B star.
