Eastenders actress Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney Dean in the soap, has spoken about her relationship with her co-star Matt Lapinskas.
McGarty and Lapinskas (Anthony Moon) began dating in October of last year, and she has revealed that she became interested in him after seeing his photo before he joined the cast in July.
She told New magazine: "I saw a photo of these two new boys joining EastEnders and was like, 'Oh my God, he's so amazing!' So yes, I fancied him just from a photo!"
The actress also spoke about the start of their relationship, saying: "There was a bit of nervous hesitation on my part. I'd be very well-behaved when he was around - not as giggly or chatty - so everyone knew something was going on! Then me and Matt just became really good friends.
"One weekend, I went to a family barbecue of his and it was absolutely amazing. That's where I knew that I really, really liked him.
"He's sweet and really lovely. He'll make me cups of tea and he ran a bath for me the other night. Once, when I had to go into work early, he wrapped me in a duvet in the car because I was so freezing.
"It was so amazing - I've never been treated that way before."
