Abigail Spencer, who plays Don Draper’s mistress on Mad Men, is in negotiations to star in a new Joss Whedon film.
In Your Eyes is a “supernatural drama” that Whedon wrote and is producing. Little is known about the story but it focuses on two people who are supernaturally connected despite being polar opposites.
Whedon, who is currently completing post-production on The Avengers, plans to make In Your Eyes as quickly as he completed his modern day version of Much Ado About Nothing which he wrapped in 12 days.
If Abigail Spencer seals the deal it will mark a busy 12 month period in which she has starred in Cowboys & Aliens, Of Men and Mavericks, This Means War and Oz: The Great and Powerful.
