Russell Brand has been spotted not wearing his wedding ring.
The 36-year-old actor and comedian was shopping in London yesterday while his wife, singer Katy Perry, was 11,000km away in Hawaii, reports Flynet.
The couple, who have been married since October 2010, were rumoured to have had a massive row over the Christmas period. Brand spent the holiday period in Cornwall while Perry (27) was spotted frolicking in the Hawaiian surf without her wedding band.
In the past the couple have been quick to scotch any rumours of a rift via Twitter but this time the silence has been significant. It is believed that a planned New Year's Eve trip to India has also been scrapped with Perry expected to stay in the US with family and friends.
