Coronation Street's Audrey Roberts will be rushed to hospital after she collapses on the street and concerned onlookers immediately call 999.
According to the Daily Star, Audrey is immediately rushed to hospital but her loved ones are later relieved to learn that nothing is seriously wrong.
Instead, doctors diagnose Audrey with high blood pressure and she is forced to give up alcohol for good.
Audrey's main storyline this year saw her fall for cross-dresser Marc Selby (Andrew Hall), but the relationship did not work out.
She has also been tipped for more drama in 2012 as con artist Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers) will be returning to Weatherfield.
