Actor Steve Carell has signed up to guest star in The Simpsons.
The former US Office star will be voicing the character of an accountant for Fat Tony, who will be played by returning guest star Joe Mantegna, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Executive producer Al Jean said of Carell's character: "He's nervous, and then Fat Tony says that he's got to kill some people and then he's really nervous because he actually wants to do it.
"The line between Ivy League MBA and ruthless murderer is a very thin one."
The episode will air in autumn 2012.
