Chris O'Dowd has revealed that he in unsure if a Bridesmaids sequel will get made.
The actor, who plays love interest Nathan in the comedy, said he is surprised that a sequel to the movie has not yet been greenlit.
O'Dowd told the Daily Star: "There's no word yet. You'd think someone would want to take it on but I'm not sure."
When suggesting ideas for the potential sequel, the IT Crowd star joked that he would like to see the romance between his and Kristen Wiig's characters come to an end.
He said: "If they do [make Bridesmaids 2] I hope it kicks off with mine and Annie's divorce.
"No laughs for the sequel - it should be an out-and-out tragedy."
