Sinéad O'Connor has announced details of her new record deal and upcoming album.

How About I Be Me (And You Be You)? will be released on One Little Indian on February 17 2012.

The press release announcing the new deal says the album is "as showstopping a performance as her silver jubilee deserves, and ranks as one of her best and most confident pieces of work so far".

Among the album's 10-tracks is a cover of John Grant's Queen of Denmark.

The full tracklisting is: 4th and Vine/Reason with Me/Old Lady/Take off Your Shoes/Back Where You Belong/The Wolf is Getting Married/ Queen of Denmark/Very Far from Home /I Had a Baby/V.I.P.

O'Connor, who plays Dublin's Olympia on December 18, will announce 2012 dates shortly.
