The X Factor 2011 judging panel, Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh, all want to return to the reality show next year.
When asked about the 2012 series by Digital Spy, all four claimed that they wanted to be back on the panel again.
Walsh responded to criticism that this year’s show didn’t reach the standard of previous years: "We're only as good as the talent that walks through the door. We all work really hard. We always do."
He added: "It's all about this year at the moment. We know absolutely nothing [about 2012]."
Regarding speculation over whether Simon Cowell will make an appearance at this weekend’s two night, four-hour final, the judges were unclear.
Walsh said: "We know Simon watches the show every week, but I think he's concentrating on the US show more than this one at the moment.”
Barlow added: "I don't think he is [coming]."
Rowland also said that Cowell is pretty clear if he doesn’t think the acts aren’t up to scratch: "If Simon wants us to know something, trust us, he'll let us know."
Finalists Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily and Little Mix will battle it out this Saturday and Sunday nights for the chance to land a Syco record contract and a Christmas single.
