Sinéad O'Connor married fiancé Barry Herridge yesterday while sitting in the back of a pink Cadillac on the Las Vegas strip.
A source told People magazine: "She wanted to do the whole thing in a Cadillac. That was her thing."
The singer, who also celebrated her 45th birthday on Thursday, is reported to have arrived around 7pm in a pink, low-cut dress to complete the necessary paperwork before making her way to the Cadillac at A Little White Wedding Chapel.
"It wasn't a traditional dress, but it wasn't a traditional wedding either," said the source. "She cried during the vows and had to wipe her eyes."
It is reported that O'Connor and Herridge – who wore a dark jacket and pink shirt – then lit candles while chapel staff sang Happy Birthday to the bride.
