Sinead O'Connor has revealed she will marry her fourth husband in a "drive-thru wedding" in Las Vegas on her 45th birthday.
The singer spoke to The Irish Independent at Dublin Airport just before she and 38-year-old therapist Barry Herridge jetted off to tie the knot.
Sinead said: "Myself and Barry decided to get married in Las Vegas because we wanted a proper rock 'n' roll wedding.
"I've been married before, but I've never had my dream wedding in Vegas. I wanted to do it there because it's casual, quick, not religious and, most of all, very romantic."
The mother-of-four revealed she met Barry after he replied to her online ad for a man.
She said: "Barry sent me this wonderful email, which just took my heart away. It had to be him."
Sinead posted a picture on her blog of herself and Barry at the airport, promised to update them with pictures of her "absolute dream wedding ceremony" and declared herself a "very happy girl".
The couple are reportedly to delay their honeymoon as Sinead is due back in Dublin on Saturday to attend a concert marking the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.
