Alec Baldwin says he was kicked off a plane at Los Angeles International Airport for playing a game on his phone.
The 30 Rock star was asked by cabin crew to get off the New York-bound flight yesterday when they found him playing ‘Words with Friends’. Words were exchanged and the actor was requested to leave.
"He loves 'Words with Friends' so much that he was willing to leave a plane for it," said Matthew Hiltzik, Balwin’s spokesperson. The actor then boarded another American Airlines flight to New York. But not before venting his spleen on Twitter where he wrote that a "flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing Words With Friends while we sat at the gate, not moving."
Baldwin then went on to write that that would be his last ever flight with American, even if they did show 30 Rock as part of their in-flight entertainment. And he also knocked the airline as "where Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950's find jobs as flight attendants."
American Airlines declined to comment.
