It's officially over for Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter. The exes, who play siblings on the hit series, had their divorce finalised last week.
Hall, 40, and Carpenter, 31, wed on New Year's Eve in 2008 however they seperated in August 2010, Carpenter then filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, in December. The couple have no children.
Earlier this year Carpenter confessed that she "still loves" Hall (who plays Dexter Morgan) and considers him to be her confidante despite the failure of their romantic relationship.
"I mean, he is and always will be one of my best friends in the world. And just because the marriage ended doesn't mean the love isn't still there," she explained to E! News.
"We take very good care of each other and our cast - we always have - and I'm just really lucky."
