Fans of Desperate Housewives have been told they will see the very dark side to one of the main characters in upcoming episodes of the new series.

As part of the fallout from the murder of Gaby's (Eva Longoria) stepfather, Bree (Marcia Cross) loses her sobriety.
In a Q&A session with fans, TVGuide.com's Natalie Abrams was asked whether the character was going to take her own life, as the most recent episode in the US involves a scene with a gun.
Abrams replied: "Probably not. It may look dire now, but in the coming weeks, she's going to slut it up all over town, which is actually what brings Kyle MacLachlan's Orson back into the picture.
"We're hearing that when barfly Bree refuses the advances of a particularly aggressive patron, Orson shows up to save the day! Could there be a happily-ever-after in the cards for these two?"
