Pop legend Madonna has been confirmed as a New Year guest star on BBC chat show The Graham Norton Show.
The 52-year-old singer will join Andrea Riseborough and James D'Arcy on the Cork comic’s show to discuss her film-directing debut W.E on Friday, January 13.
A clearly delighted Norton said: "I couldn't be more excited! This is my real Christmas present. I may have to retire, but that's not a promise!"
The former Father Ted star previously described Madonna as the ‘holy grail’ of chatshow guests, adding that he would be prepared to devote an entire show just to her.
Madonna’s movie-directing debut – a historical drama based on the relationship between British monarch Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson – is due to be released on January 20.
