Last year’s X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd has stepped up to help Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson following cyber bullying.
In an interview on This Morning, the Swagger singer said that she phoned 20-year-old Nelson in a bid to help her battle the bullies.
The 19-year-old said: “I actually called her because I was at an awards ceremony and she didn't turn up with the rest of her band. And I was a bit like, 'Why isn't she here?’”

The remaining members of the group, Perrie Edwards, 18, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 18, and Jade Thirlwall, 18, all turned up at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards with their fellow contestants last week.
Lloyd added: “So I rang her up and I was like, 'You've got the biggest platform ever. You've got a massive opportunity. Go out there, be happy."'
This time last year, Lloyd had also started to doubt herself following a flurry of abuse on Twitter.
