Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been named by Vogue magazine as ‘The Best Dressed Sisters’
The former TV stars turned fashion designers topped the poll ahead of other famous sisters including Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning, songbirds Beyonce and Solange Knowles, and Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa Middleton.
Vogue's Fashion News Director and Editor Mark Holgate revealed the reason why the Olsens reigned supreme: “They get it right a lot of the time and then sometimes they don't get it right. That's actually great because it shows that it's their hands reaching into their wardrobes.
"They don't have someone telling them, 'This is cool, this is hot, this is what you should be wearing'. It comes from within them. It's instinctual.”
He added: “Look at what they've done with The Row and Elizabeth and James [their fashion labels]. They are legitimate fashion forces."
