Brothers and Sisters star Luke Grimes will join Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen for the Taken sequel.
According to Variety director Olivier Megaton has cast Grimes, who played Ryan Lafferty the sixth Walker sibling, as Maggie’s love interest, a key role in Taken 2.
In the original film, retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Neeson) was forced to chase ruthless kidnappers across Europe to rescue his daughter.
In the action-packed sequel, the tables are turned as Mills and his ex-wife (Janssen) are captured and held hostage by the father (Rade Serbedzija) of one of his daughter’s kidnappers, whom Mills killed.
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane star Grimes will no doubt play a key role in helping to rescue her parents from the baddie's clutches.
Taken 2 is due for release in October 2012.
