Coronation Street star Samia Smith has divorced her property developer husband Matthew after six years of marriage.
The actress, who plays the character of Maria Connor on the soap, also revealed on Twitter that she has now reverted back to her maiden name, Ghadie.
Her divorce was finalised 11 months after the couple, who have a two-year-old daughter Freya together, separated.
She wrote on her Twitter page: "So I've got a new surname everyone... it's my old one."
The actress is now dating her Coronation Street co-star Will Thorp, who plays Chris Gray on the soap.
