Lulu was the latest contestant to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing last night after she found herself in the bottom two with boxer Audley Harrison.

The singer and her professional dance partner Brendan Cole had danced a Tango on Saturday night to Prince’s Kiss and received a mixed response from the panel. Actress Jennifer Grey, who stood in for head judge Len Goodman, had praise for Lulu who opened the show while fellow judge Bruno Tonioli said she had a great start but that there were plenty of mistakes also.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood said: "The head and neck placement for me was very, very poor. You were looking down an awful lot, I know Brendan has told you about that.

"Shoulders were very loose and that's why everyone was talking about the frame. You keep miming, which is driving me mad, you need to stop that and tell the story.

"But I thought you had a lovely moment up on the bridge, a beautiful ronde, I saw what you did there and it was lovely and strong, and I really loved the routine."

The singer said that taking part in the show was "a lifetime's very special experience" and said she "would never have missed it for a moment".
