Three of the cast members of EastEnders, including Kylie Babbington, who plays Jodie Gold, are leaving the soap.

The Press Association reports that Rachel Bright, who plays Jodie's on-screen friend Poppy Meadow, is also leaving, while George Layton, who plays Norman Simmonds, makes his final appearance in tomorrow's episode.
An EastEnders spokesperson said: "Since the departure of her mum (Zoe Lucker) and boyfriend Darren (Charlie G Hawkins), it was felt the character of Jodie had come to a natural end and viewers will see her head off to look for Darren.
"Like Norman, Poppy had always been a supporting character, not a regular, however we may well see her return again in the future."
