Noel Gallagher has claimed that his friend and fellow musician Paul Weller is a closet X Factor fan.
The former Oasis star, who has just released a new album High Flying Birds, said that his daughter and Weller's daughter had talked about their fathers watching the TV show.
Gallagher told ShortList, "Anyone who says they don't watch [The X Factor] is a bulls**tter. I know for a fact that Paul Weller watches it.
"We've never spoken about it, but his daughter told my daughter that he watches it with her.
"That's... interesting, isn't it? The 'Modfather' sitting around watching The X Factor. It's an endearing image, that."
Gallagher has previously claimed that his daughter has never forgiven him for turning down an offer from Simon Cowell to become a judge on the UK X Factor.
He also said that the music industry would be better if it had more people like Cowell: "Simon's alright you know. I tell people and they're horrified, but it's true.
"If the music business was full of people like him, it would be a better place because he's real."
He added: "He's not pretending he's going home every night listening to The White Stripes."
