Gossip Girl co-creator Josh Schwartz is planning to create a US remake of the hit British comedy drama Misfits.
UK Misfits creator Howard Overman will join the US version, and collaborate with Schwartz in writing a translation for the US audience.
He is also set to serve as an executive producer.
Overman recently admitted that he was unsure if the British take on the superhero genre would translate to America.
The show's third series will air on October 30.
