Nineties pop group Steps have announced an arena tour, which will begin with two dates in Ireland.
They will launch their tour in Belfast's Odyssey Arena on April 2nd, followed by Dublin's 02 Arena on April 3rd. Twelve other venues across the UK will play host to the band during April 2012.
The group members (Faye, Lisa, Lee, Claire and H) acted as subjects in a four-part documentary which questioned why they split and aimed to ease tensions between the now thirty-something singers, pre-empting a possible reunion.
The Living TV documentary saw the five come together for the first time since their bitter split and work through their issues, rekindling their passion for their former careers. The Brit Award-winning band had huge success with singles like 5, 6, 7, 8, One For Sorrow and Tragedy.
One member, Lee Latchford-Evans stated that Steps' previous albums re-entered the iTunes UK Top 40 last week "which was weird". The band have just released a catalogue of their biggest hits, entitled The Ultimate Collection, to mark ten years since their last release.
Tickets for the Irish dates will be released this Friday.
