RTÉ 2fm is joining forces with Barnardos, Ireland's leading independent children's charity, for a Halloween appeal.
RTÉ 2fm stars like Lucy Kennedy, Hector Ó hEochagain, Baz Ashmawy, Ryan Tubridy and Colm Hayes want the country to join them in raising funds in aid of the charity's work with children and families.
Tubridy said of the appeal: “On Friday 28th of October we want everyone to get dressed up for Barnardos, to organise their own events and dress up for a day in their school, community or workplace.
"People can make it as minimal or extreme as they like; the key is to get involved. It’s going to be a massive campaign. If you’re not dressed up on the 28th, hopefully you’ll be in the minority!”
The 2fm Dress-Up for Barnardos week runs from October 24 to Halloween, Friday October 28, with Barnardos holding collection days nationwide, while the RTÉ 2fm will be calling on people across the country to take part.
