Rebels, runaways and mean girls provide an irresistible cocktail of lies, romantic obsession, revenge and disappearances in the ground breaking TG4 online teen drama Na Rúin.
The webshow, which is in Irish with English subtitles, is a spin-off series of TG4's flagship drama Ros na Rún. The series centres on a group of troubled teens living in a care home in the village and has been exciting viewers with its gritty, edgy storylines.

Na Rúin is scripted and performed by young people aged between 15 and 21, whose talent was developed in writing and acting training courses in the Irish language, organised by Ros na Rún in order to foster exiting new Irish language talent in the arts.

Hugh Farley, Series Producer of Ros na Rún and Na Rúin, says that the webisode series is fast paced with suspense filled storylines: "Na Rúin’ was written by Irish teenagers and tackles serious real-life issues that they experience including romantic obsession, jealousy, family problems, bullying and even depression. The storylines move from humorous and light-hearted to dark and at times even chilling, leaving you thinking about the characters long after each episode ends.’’

Some of the dramatic storylines will see: A troubled teen disappearing from Ros na Rún just as a child molester is arrested in the town, hunky bad boy Lorcan developing a forbidden romance with teen runaway Ciara which leads to endless torment and ridcule from her peers, and a body is found - but who is it and why are they dead?
