With the season two premiere of The Walking Dead set to air on American television on October 16, fans have been given some details of what they'll see in the early episodes of the new series.

Answering questions from fans about upcoming plotlines, TVGuide's Natalie Abrams said that they would "see a flashback to the very beginning of the series, aka the day Rick (Andrew Lincoln) got shot".
She continued: "In addition to getting a glimpse at the root of Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Rick's marital problems, we'll also witness the first spark of attraction between Lori and Shane (Jon Bernthal)."
