Alesha Dixon has revealed that she won't tolerate any slacking among this year's Strictly Come Dancing contestants.

The judge, who is returning for her third year on the reality series, said that her experience of winning the dance contest means that she won't go easy on this year's participants.

She told Digital Spy: "My main thing is don't slack in the training. Don't put four hours in and think you're going to be okay. I remember doing ten hours a day training from Monday to Friday when I was on the show. Then we'd finish the show on Saturday and I'd get dragged to training on a Sunday.

"I think that that willingness and dedication is a key to winning"
