Cheryl Cole has allegedly warned her X Factor replacement Tulisa Contostavlos to not end up like her and "don't let the show ruin your life."
According to Now magazine, the singer has told Tulisa to not let The X Factor get in the way of her romance with N-Dubz bandmate Fazer, after boss Simon Cowell apparently encouraged Cole to dump husband Ashley.
A source told the publication: "Tulisa's said she has little time to see her boyfriend as she's so busy. Cheryl's begged her not to let all the hours spent working on the show wreck her relationship."
"She warned her that Simon expects the show to come first and advised her to keep a healthy work-life balance."
The insider claimed that Cheryl apparently warned Contostavlos: "Don't end up like me - I've lost the love of my life, several friends and I'm off track with my music because I devoted everything to that TV show."
The source added: "Cheryl was so grateful for The X Factor, but there were consequences."
The 28-year old has previously reached out to Tulisa, sending her flowers on her debut and assuring her that despite reports that she would be back for the live shows, she had no plans to steal Contostavlos' job.
