EastEnders has been awarded the Best Soap prize at the Inside Soap Awards.
For the second year running, the London based soap walked away as the big winner on the night, scooping up five awards ahead of Coronation Street's three.
Jessie Wallace won the Best Actress gong for her portrayal of Queen Vic matriarch Kat Slater, Maisie Smith (Tiffany Butcher) won the award for Best Young Actor, Tameka Empson (Kim Fox) was awarded the Funniest Performance gong, with Tamwar Masood and Afia Khan's nuptials winning the Best Wedding award.

Coronation Street was awarding the Outstanding Achievement gong for the soap's 50th anniversary live episode featuring the tram crash storyline.
Emmerdale's Danny Miller retained his respective titles of Best Actor as Aaron Livesy in the village serial and Best Dramatic Performance for his involvement in Jackson's assisted suicide scene. See the full list of Inside Soap Award Winners below.
